Peugeot 206 electric roof not working.
The abs pump in my version of the 206cc controls the speedo hence when the car logged the abs fault think it was a communication fault the car ecu could not determine the speed accurately and would not open the roof.
Check wiring connections and for moisture corrosion.
The ussual fault is the rotary switch in the boot on the end of the roof mechanism.
It is mounted on the boot bulkhead below the lh speaker.
The boot tray is extended and the trip seems to work.
How do reset the roof of a peugeot 206cc.
I had an intemittent issue with the electric hood of my 1998 bmw z3.

Turn off the ignition wait 30 seconds then try again if this does not work you have to read the manual and it says open the boot and pull the string on the parcel shelf find the allen key in tool.

Hi my car is a 51 reg peugeot 206 cc the roof lost power last night as i was trying to open it we managed to get it down but when i came to try and put it back on it continually beeped and their was no power in the roof at all we manually managed to put it back up but the corners on the boot lid area have not locked in the correct position.
Most roof problems are not due to the roof ecu but it sounds as if this one probably is.
Cheaper than the manufacturer.
2006 peugeot s 206cc retractable roof stuck in the down position with the windows up.
I left my car with cayman autos and a couple of days later i was told the problem.
But then once the car was driven the code would be logged again and the roof stopped working.
